E’ richiesto un estratto Log, con elenco dei nominativi collegati o ascoltati e vistato da due radioamatori, comunque potrà sempre essere richiesta la visione di qualche QSL per un eventuale controllo.
Il diploma è GRATIS

 

L' A.W.A. Manager IØOCD Christine Renaud , nell’ambito delle attività connesse al DX, ha indetto un diploma a carattere permanente denominato A.W.A. ARCTIC WORLD AWARD allo scopo di ricordare la spedizione Italiana di Umberto Nobile e la odissea della tenda rossa tra i ghiacci del Polo Nord.
I collegamenti possono essere effettuati su ogni banda e in ogni modo e in qualsiasi altro modo digitale. Hanno validità i collegamenti a far data dal 1 Gennaio 1944
Sono validi ugualmente i collegamenti effettuati con nominativi (calls) da navi laboratorio e basi artiche (RAEM, U-POL & Drifting Stations).Per l’ottenimento del diploma A.W.A. il richiedente dovrà dimostrare di aver collegato o ascoltato 10 stazioni operanti dall’Artico al di sopra del 60° parallelo dell’emisfero boreale e di averne le conferme cioè 10 QSL di almeno 3 nazionalità diverse tra quelle rappresentate sul diploma.

Sin dal 1° gennaio 2015 il diploma diventa telematico per cui non più cartaceo. Il file compilato con tutte le convalide sarà inviato via mail e potrà essere stampato dal richiedente su carta di propria scelta anche se è consigliabile la carta fotografica (formato A3).

 

 

WAP A.W.A. AWARD (english rule)

A.W.A. (ARCTIC WORLD AWARD ) http://www.reddolphin.it/AWA-AWARD.asp is Managed by IØOCD Christine Renaud.
Born long ago with the aim to remind the Italian Umberto Nobile Expedition and the odyssey of the "Red Tent" over the ice if the frozen North Pole, A.W.A. is dedicated to all DXers, Hams & SWLs who love the Arctic as much as we do.

From January 1st 2015 to cut expensive costs, this certificate becomes electronic.
A Log extract, can be sent by e-mail to IØOCD Christine Renaud (i0ocd.chris@alice.it) and can be printed by the applicant on paper of their choice even if it is recommended to use photo paper.
AWA is achievable by working at least 5 Stations located above 60° North, regardless if operating from islands or mainland. All bands and modes are allowed. To get the Award, it's necessary to send the Award Manager IØOCD Christine Renaud (i0ocd.chris@alice.it ) a Log extract with the list of the stations worked, filled with Callsign, Date, GMT time, Frequency, Mode, RST given and received. An application form (to be used in place of an own log extract), is also available by clicking on the yellow AWA-FORM Download window on http://www.reddolphin.it/AWA-AWARD.asp web site.
A.W.A. certificate is FREE and consists in a personalized coated color paper certificate (A3 size).

The connections can be carry out on all the Ham Radio’s bands and ways of emission SSB, CW, RTTY, EME, SAT, PSK-31.
To get the Award, it is necessary to exhibit to the Award Manage the application formr:

• • Application form, dated and signed, filled of the following datas: Callsign of the station worked, respective WAP reference, date, GMT time, frequency, mode, RST given and received..

• • QSL are not necessary but on request they have to be sent to the Award Manager for check. The application, have to be signed by 2 OM as check.

• • The AWA. award is ABSOLUTLY FREE

Diploma AWA award. consists in a certificate in coated coloured paper, personalized of the A3 dimension.
The score classification and the names of the owners of AWA will be communicated to A.R.I. - H.Q. in order to publish the score on “Radio Rivista”, the official magazine of the A.R.I..
The present regulations constitutes integrating part of the diploma and will be send to the ARI HQ for its insertion in the Directory of A.R.I.’s diplomas.
